Updated 2nd July: Our next gig or shall I say gigs is a 3-day weekend tour around Manchester with our mates from Brighton, Deadbeat Descendant (Friday-July 3rd @ The Irish Club BLOWOUT Chorlton, Saturday-July 4th The Baker's Vaults, Stockport, and Sunday-July 5th The Tiger Lounge, FNF, Mcr City Center).  Also, we will be having our 2ND LP LAUNCH PARTY with SPECIAL GUESTS  (MARTIN BRAMAH'S FACTORY STAR & The Mighty DILE -The King’s Arms Salford, 21 Aug 2009)

Updated 19th January 2009: Bobbie Peru has just finished recording 3 smoking new tracks at 6db Studios www.myspace.com/6dbstudio in Salford: 20 Stone, 25% (of nothing version), and Carbon Dated (child version). The tracks will be on our soon to be released sophomore album.

Suck My Sound 97.2 WFM has voted Bobbie Peru's Caustic Soda Pop number three of SMS's www.suckmysound.org Best of 2008 Top 20 Countdown.

Also, Bobbie Peru will be performing and chatting on last ever show on WFM. The show is on Saturday 17th January 4-6pm. However, this will NOT be the end of SuckMySound but it will be the end of 97.2 WFM. Anyway if you live in Manchester please tune in or if you live in the web www. suckmysound. org!!!

Our next gig will be on Friday, 9th January 2009 at The Bakers Vault, Stockport and Happy 2009!!!

Updated 2nd December 2008: Our next gig will be the release party for 'I Hate The Neighbours' Video launch. This event will be held at Jabez Clegg in Manchester on the 19th of December 2008. Doors open at 7pm and tickets can be bought at www.glasswerk.co.uk

Martin Bramah's Factory Star and Calvin Party will be the support. There will also be a buffet and aftershow party til late!!

Bobbie Peru are happy to announce that the legendary Alan Wise is now their official manager. Alan has over 30 years experience in the music industry as both as a music promoter and band manager.† Some of his most notable experience has been with his promotion of Nico, Joy Division, New Order, The Fall, Magazine, John Cooper Clarke, The Buzzcocks & Thin Lizzy.

Updated 23rd October 2008: Bobbie Peru will be debuting their new drummer Adam Buckeridge on Tuesday at the Tiger Lounge (28th October). Look out for the bands forthcoming single release available for the first time at a launch party...details of which to follow soon. The release is leading up to the second album release in the New Year.... keep checking back for updates!!

Updated 28th August 2008: We our happy to announce that Bobbie Peru will be opening up for Kirk Brandon's legendary Spear Of Destiny at 7 shows on their forthcoming Singles Tour of the U.K. It means a welcome return to Scotland for us as well as home shows in Manchester & Liverpool and trips up north to York and Newcastle. We're greatly looking forward to this and would like to thank Liam, Christophe & Kirk for making this happen

Updated 2nd August 2008: We have recored a New single, 'I Hate The Neighbours' which is mixed and pretty much ready to go. 2 versions have been recorded, one with extra intro and outro stuff for the video which will accompany the single. The Video has been filmed and is now in the process of being edited. It was shot with us playing the single on a rather tall rooftop in Liverpool's city center and in various locations throughout Manchester; such as Jam Street Cafe in Whalley Range and Outside the Salford Midi School. More details to come as production finalises.

Two storming gigs over the last weekend have earned us a festival slot next month [Mozz festival in Mossely] and a return gig at The Green Windmill for a night with Mancunian legend Clint Boon on the decks 21/08

Updated 6th July 2008: Are currently recording tracks for their second album, to be released late autumn 2008. Our Live European CD will be a short run of 300 copies and will be available from this website and to download, August 2008.

Updated 1st June 2008: We will be supporting THE FALL, 28 June at Academy 2, Manchester University, doors 7:30. Also, our good friends D.I.L.E. are on the bill as well.

Updated 23rd January 2008: I'm happy to announce that Mark E. Smith has invited Bobbie Peru, to open up for The Fall at a few of the shows on their forthcoming UK tour in March. We will be appearing with The Fall at Liverpool Academy 07/03; London, Astoria 12/03; Salford University 21/03 and at The Ferry in Glasgow 29th and 30th ...... Many thanks Mark. Prior to our appearances with The Fall, we shall be on tour in February with another legend, Mr Frank Black Francis at most of the dates on his European tour.

Bobbie Peru will be supporting Black Francis on his European tour this February 2008.. check the gig section for tour listings.
